My goal in signing up for the Pre-Season Blitz was to become leaner to allow me to be faster on the field. In 8 weeks, I lost 9 pounds while increasing my physical strength. I feel a lot better than before, I’m still full of energy and my speed has really improved. It had a big impact on my season, because I had my best season ever.
The results of the Blitz? Feeling in top shape constantly, with no discomfort or injury, new knowledge about nutrition much more advanced than I could have thought and, with the guidance of the team, I was able to lose a total of 23 pounds in 2 months, but the most noticeable difference was really in my body fat%. My speed, high jump and long jump, and cardiovascular performance have greatly evolved with these changes.
I’m definitely leaner than I used to be and that makes me a lot faster. I’ve also had a big increase in my strength and it shows in the gym. What surprised me the most was my increased concentration at school. There’s a really big difference in my concentration before and after the kickoff. What I liked about the kickoff is the fact that we’re a big gang, it makes us know that we’re all in a similar situation and that we can help each other, for example with the pictures of our meals. Finally, the follow-up of the coaches is really interesting. They adjust our plans over the weeks based on the results and our goals. I also really enjoyed the two meetings a week, both with and without guests. It allowed us to learn more about nutrition and what surrounds it and to answer our questions. The guests were insane and all interesting.
I play for the University of Montreal Carabins. After my rookie year, my coaches asked me to change positions and gain weight, which I did quickly, but in the wrong way. I had reached my desired weight, but I didn’t feel athletic and much less explosive. I heard about MVP by word of mouth and I became interested in them and their program, especially when I saw that they could do you a body recomposition nutrition program, which was perfect for my situation because I wanted to become leaner by keeping my current weight. Every week, I hit unexpectedly mid-workout PRs. This week I hit a PR at the front squat, overhead squat & hang clean. I also ran under 5.00 in the 40-yard dash for the first time in my life.
My first goals were to gain 7 pounds, get to 200 pounds and become much leaner! My goals have been achieved since now I’m at 200 pounds and really, really cut than before! But also, quicker!

In 8 weeks I have become leaner while gaining 4 pounds and I feel much lighter when I run. I would repeat the blitz to my teammates because there are several who put in the effort but don’t really know what to do like I did. It was a real game changer for me.
My results were really convincing, I stayed the same weight but I greatly improved my performance at the gym and in addition, I visibly lost fat!
